Will Jermain Taylor Defeat Andre Ward?

Why the **** do people keep saying Taylor has the style edge? Umm... no he doesnt.

 

This is actually a good matchup for Taylor. He wont have to contend with any heavy firepower at all. Ward is someone he can box and punch with.

 

Because they think that Ward not being somewhat a crude brawler IE Froch and AA that Taylor will be able to win because he dont need to worry about Wards power. Which is the stupidest thing that i have heard in awhile. Judah doesnt hit as hard as Mayorga but he was able to knockout Spinks were as Mayorga wasnt. What about Mayweather vs hatton/ Tszyu vs Hatton??? The logic is flawed and that of a couple of guys that as I said would love nothing more then to see Taylor beat Ward then lose to Kessler, Dirrell lose to AA and then Beat Ward. which would result in niether guy making the finals. The biggest fear by these guys would have Ward vs Dirrell in the finals. If that happens you will hear bitching and complaining on a level that is unheard of.

 

Andre Ward is going to be hit, more than he was against Kessler..

and yet ward didnt fall despite miranda landing some big shots on him and kessler landing two right hands on him (probably the only punches he landed). again, two fighters that have twice the power of boone and didn't fall. again, flawed and stupid logic.

i think your forgetting that these fighters are human despite being supreme athletes. even the best have got their bell rung every once in a while.

pacs been dropped in his career as well via punches to the face, and yet he went on to become p4p one of the best boxers in the world. like you said paul, a chin cant improve. yet he didn't fall when cotto hit him, despite pac getting dropped by fighters who are nowhere near as strong as cotto. once again, stupid and flawed logic. until you learn boxers are human and not programmed machinery then we can get somewhere.

but mental toughness can, having a good chin is not about the type of bone you have in your chin, its mostly mental. you have to want to take punches in order to carry on.

actually its because you are using such ******ed logic it shouldn't go unnoticed, thats all.

 

And Taylor hasnt stopped anyone in 5 years. So Whats your point?
