Will Jermain Taylor rule 168 pound division?

People can laugh at Froch, but Taylor avoiding him undermines their point somewhat.

It's an irrelevance anyway. Bute/Kessler hold the belts in this division, Taylor has to get through them to rule it. Ain't happening.

I still consider it funny how peole still think he can do what he did at 160 at 168,JT is disrespecting the sport,he doesn't even watch boxing,he was a some kind of boxing conference and Manny Pacquiao was announced and he goes:''Who that little man?''.That's disrespect to the sport, don't think he gonna be supported by HBO and the judges now

 I hadn't heard about that one

I never got the impression he was in love with the sport. The way he mopes in his corner, doesn't listen to what his corner tells him. Just never really looks like he fancied the job. He got away with it with the help of judges against older men, but against young hungry guys its game over.

The only problem JT is going to have with Froch is that he will be so shocked at how slow and easily he is able to hit Froch that it might cause his brain to malfunction which will temporarily paralyze him and he might take one from Froch. Other than that, huge difference in class. No comparison. JT will be able to touch Froch anytime he lets his hands go. He can just pick him apart with his vastly superior hand speed and ability to put together lightning fast combinations.

You do understand that he might even have to go to the UK to fight him,and you do understand that he ain't gonna have all the judges in the world for him anymore

There's a lot of boxers who don't follow the sport. It's a lot more common than you'd think. I know a whole bunch of kids training to go pro and the majority of them know about five fighters:

Floyd Mayweather Jr, Mohammad Ali, Mike Tyson, George Foreman and Winky Wright.

It's just the way the sport is nowadays.

He shouldn't of been fighting then...He's looked very poor for the past few fights and if he never properly recovered he shouldn't of been told to fight.

Taylor will have big problems with Kessler, Froch and Bute. Its well known he ran from Froch to get abit more money. IMO taylor is a lower card fighter now, dull, boring, waste of money. hope lacy pulls something out and batters the c**t!

Hey lookie there goes the point WAAAAAAY over your head.

My point is that the sports evolved where kids coming out of the amateurs don't follow the sport.

A lot of them don't like the sport like us hardcore fans. I mean could you have imagined RJJ not knowing who guys like Lamotta or Robinson were?

Carlos Quintana didn't even KNOW who Antonio Margarito was until they were on the same card together.
