Father Time beat McKart long before Pavlik did. It was only the way Pav won that was impressive.

Miranda, who and WHO? This is like me bringing up Brian Magee as a great win for Froch, he's known as a decent operator in Europe but over there nobody gives a ****. Why should I give a **** about the ZZ Top boys, they've done NOTHING! :-(

5 weeks...and what thunder? This is boxing not yoga. These guys aren't fairies. In the old days they'd fight 2/3 times a month regularly.

Anyway, my point was not to get into who has a better resume out of Froch/Pavlik pre-Taylor...I'm just illustrating that resume is only a small factor in analysing a guys h2h ability. If it was a major one Pavlik would never have beaten Taylor. Froch is in the same situation now.

This is not the old times TFFP,Tatevosyan was not trained properly and the victory was overhyped

I am not too sure, he has a chance, but the division is a good one. I mean there is Kessler, Bute and Calzaghe (who although is now fighting at 175, still has most of the belts, and also might come back down for Pavlik), while I believe Pavlik will stop here sooner rather than later, as not much is going on at middle. While if Pavlik does go to SMW expect Abraham to join in, unless he decides to simply cash in on an empty middle division.

I've watched the fight twice, can't really say he fought "scared". He WAS cautious, yes, but who wouldn't be in his place? If u got KTFO by someone and fought him in an immediate rematch, wouldn't u have the ko in your mind? U would just go ahead and unleash an all-out attack and leave yourself totally exposed to a guy who knocked u out cold?

I understand that the HBO hype got u mad, but don't make it sound like he is a shitty fighter. I believe he has very good skills and after all we're talking about a guy who has fought Hopkins twice, Winky AND went right ahead and took the rematch against the guy that knocked him out.

As far as the thread's question: Don't know if he can rule the division, but he sure can provide some entertaining fights with other top fighters.
