I think Taylor is stronger and better at 168. I would favor him over all of the above, with Kessler being the toughest challenge.

Maybe so, but being a Super Middle Weight in Middleweight against Light Middleweights didn't impress me much. And without these advantages I don't think it will turn out very well, but time will tell.

I think Taylor had trouble making weight for his defences after Bhop and that was his biggest problem. I think his choice of opponents may have reflected that.

He has more trouble making 160 than Pavlik, he will move up sooner rather than later.

In a 'styles make fights' vein, I think he is better suited to Ole Joe than Kelly. He is faster and it would be a 'scoring' match between the two.

I can see no reason that Taylor shouldn't be in the upper portion of the mix at 168 over the next couple of years. He seemed to have recovered ok from the big KO Kelly put on him, fighting well and keeping it close in their second fight. Unless losing 2 in a row broke his spirit, which I doubt. At any rate, we should see one way or the other when he fights Lacy.

p.s. does anyone give Lacy a chance in that fight?

    Zilch. Zip. Nada.

I'm going to put up a ton of money on JT via KO. I might risk homelessness on this one.

I'm not bullish on Lacy either, but I don't know if I'd go that far, LOL!!

    Good luck!

Did you happen to catch his last fight? I think the guy was Mendoza. Don't know anything about that guy's past but he took countless FLUSH right hands from Lacy where Lacy was able to sit down on his punches and they had ZERO effect on the guy. It was quite shocking. Wasn't a couple of his biggest assests his power and menace? It looks like both are gone.

And he even admitted that he tackled Mendoza in purpose late in the fight to get a breather. The guy looked awful in the "win". If you want to call it that. I had Mendoza winning.
