Pascal has looked very lethargic and perhaps a bit chinny since his return from shoulder surgery (don't ask how surgery on the shoulder effects your chin, the hell if I know) but he hasn't looked very sharp. Add in quite a bit of inactivity and you can see why the majority of us are picking Froch.

    Should be a fun fight.

Then you'll know that Froch v Taylor was the first choice for the vacant title, but Taylor wasn't interested.

You're more confident than I am that he'll be anymore interested in taking on Froch as challenger to his title. I guess we'll see.

I'm no Pascal fan, but in his defense, I had rotor cuff surgery performed by an excellent surgeon who specialized in sports medicine, and it is a SON OF A ***** to heal up from.

Lack of resme does effect a guy's potential. I know I'm out on a limb on this one but I see a lot of talent in Froch and would only favour Kessler and Bute over him at 168, discounting JC of course.

What has Froch's resume got to do with his h2h potential? Who the hell had Kelly Pavlik fought before he dethroned Taylor? If this was a criteria that fight would never even have taken place.

Taylor has been very lucky to scrape through with those gifts off older men before his world came crashing down. I expect the same to happen when he faces a Kessler, Bute hell even Froch. His defence in the main has been sloppy, although improved in the last fight, his stamina isn't good, I doubt he has power anywhere above respectable.

He's just an athelete, not a great boxer.

I think he has a shot to be the #1 Supermiddleweight. I wouldn't be too shocked if he was able to beat Kessler. Well, hopefully we'll see it in the first part of 2009 if both men go on to win their upcoming bouts.

His chin won't hold up either I don't think. I have big question marks over that at 168.

You may laugh but Taylor would have problems with him, anyway Taylor ain't gonna do much at 168
