Will Jermaine Taylor retire Jeff Lacy?

Yeah, he was seriously contemplating retirement until JT's camp offered a cool pay day. This is just a final pay day for Lacy and i don't think his heart will be into it while this is a huge fight for JT as a win will pretty much put him in line to fight any SMW out there.

I couldn't agree more. Jermain Taylor is a very talented fighter, and is being a bit underrated because he hasn't performed as well as he can for a while. I think he will win a shut-out UD.

If his heart is not in it then he should retire but i suppose if he can get one last pay day with the Taylor fight its not a bad idea to take it. I just hope he doesn't get to much of a beating. No point having that last pay day if you cant enjoy the money afterwards.

 

Lacy could win this thing. Taylor is an HBO-created FRAUD who hasn't clearly beaten ANY decent fighter. I would not be surprised if Lacy starches him!

Kessler would TKO Lacy within a few rounds easily. Lacy's corner or the Ref would end up stopping it!

 

well taylor is a fighter and i think he will outpoint maybe late tko lacy.but he going to have to hurt him 1st and then get him out of there.jt beat up on alot of little guys and soon he fought someone his own size he went to bed.so he will have to box more since hes fighting lacy, but because lacy has been so shity lately he might get passed with the tko or ko.then it will be taylor vs kessler wich is foty caniate if it ever gets made.

 

I predict a ko win for Lacy....then followed by some statements on here bashing Calzaghes win over him saying something along the lines of "Lacy was past him prime against Joe, but has now found his prime again"!!!
