Joe Calzaghe has an impressive 45-0 record, beaten a few quality fighters, successfully defended his title belt 20 plus times and currently p4p top 10 very best boxer today. I would say yes if he continues fighting big name fighters. fans, what do you have to say.

HoF for sure, he'll go down as the best 168lb fighter ever as hard as it seems to believe.

As for ATG, iim borderline if he cracks top 100 or not.

Right now just HOF, though if Kessler goes on to accomplish a lot and he clips off Dawson or Pavlik impressively, especially a combination of the two, then he's sealed as an ATG.

Ed I'm not calling you out I just wanna know why beating Jones at this point would do so much for Calzaghe's LEGACY(not his bank account). I mean I might just be negative but Jones performance in January was against a Trinidad
-who was completely embarressed in his last fight 2 years ago
-there was at least a difference of 20lbs. between their natural best weights imo
And before that fight Jones didnt impress me much against Ajamu and Hanshaw.

    Your thoughts....

He's the most succesful 168 pounder ever. First and only universal champ at the weight.

    Certain HoF. 168lb ATG

Its only been a weak division in the USA.

Its been a hot bed in Europe for years.

Then please explain why many American middleweights have circumvented the entire Super Middleweight division to go to Lt. heavyweight? Certainly not because they feared Calslappy?

Perhaps because they didn't want to end up in the Gerald McClellan retirement home.
