I am convinced that he will. A sign off fight for a mega huge purse in Wales. Looking to retire 47 - 0.

He will be all too aware of a few niggling comments about his legacy and not be able to resist putting one more nail in that coffin.

Rests mainly on a viable name contender emerging soon. May well be winner of Froch Taylor my guess.

You need to add another Option "Who Cares?"

I really don't care if that boring slapper fight again or not. Infact I wish he doesn't.

I think he got what he wanted out of it. It's possible, but I doubt it.

If Calzhagi really cared about his legacy he wouldn't have been fighting bums most of his life, ofcourse he won't come back.

    Hopefully not.

Alot of talk about his legacy, this and that. But i mean he retired and has been gone, looking back now, does anyone really miss him? Does anyone really care. The man will really be forgotten in 5 years from now by most fans.

Not trying to start some **** but its true.

Joe strikes me as exception to the rule. I doubt he will change his mind. I don't think he will miss the spotlight and I don't think he cares that much about the money.

He seems like a cool down to earth guy that just wants to appreciate life. He also seems smart enough to probably realize his legacy will be the topic of discussion for years to come.

Say what you will about Joe, that undefeated record will always keep him in the discussion when pondering all-time greats. In fact, the more time passes, the more people (myself included) will begin to better appreciate just how good he was.

For the longest time I was never sold on him, but when he beat Hopkins, I realized he was much better than I was giving him credit for.

The shame of it is, were it not for Warren, Calzaghe could have proved his worth earlier in his career, and even if he had lost one or two along the way, I think he could have still been viewed in a better light, but I digress.

Joe is a great fighter and I, for one, hope he enjoys retirement!

    No.

Joe is clever and would not have retired if he wasn't ready.

He likes to eat and will be 200 pounds + in a year. Also, he will not waste his money on girls, cars, drugs etc. only to find that his only skill is boxing and therefore make a comeback. Joe would be a brilliant trainer or even promoter and I think he will go that way. We all knew that Mayweather would come back even before he 'retired', but his retirement had nothing to do with him being done, just him thinking he has enough money for a lifetime as well as a cry for respect "they will respect you more when you stop, Floyd". IT was all just a ridiculous joke... and everyone was in on it. Joe is different. He said he has stopped, so that is what he is.

No, he has no reason to either.
