Well if he was only rehydrating 8 lbs at WW 2 years before the B Hop fight then that doesn't suggest he was particularly zombified at the weight. I love Tito but he has no MW resume to speak of.

He started putting on weight after 1999. Most men do after 25.

He was already past 25 in 1999. :nod

Why was he only rehydrating 8 lbs at WW if he was zombified there? :huh

The truth is Tito was a completely unproved MW. And to this day has done little of note at the weight while Kessler and B Hop are and were very accomplished at the weights Joe defeated them at. :nod

Yea a lot of guysguys in their late 20s simply cannot make the weights they once did. Guys like Pacquiao Hearns Tito mayweather morales are proof. The body eventually may have to move up.

Tito was 28 in the Hopkins fight. He fought at MW there because like most men after age 25 the inevitable comes. The body doesn't make the weights it used to.

Floyd and Manny'sfight night weights are hardly any different at all from when they were 25-27.

Pacquiao: 144 vs Morales in 2005 (age 25)
Floyd: 145 vs Corley in 2004 (age 27)

Both men fight within 5-7 lbs of these weights 10+ years later.

Hearns had his first fight at MW at age 23 and did not move past SMW (except for a one-off fight) until he was 33.

None of these examples prove your point.

Guys move up in weight through their careers. Often times cuz they grow out of the weight class.

I have countered all of the evidence you have offered. Tito did next to nothing at MW in his career and should have been fighting at 154 when he took on B Hop. But, like a true warrior, he moved up to fight the best available guy and was beaten badly in a bout that was contested outside of his best weight class.

I would have less of a problem with your logic if you applied it consistently. you consider Pac a natural 126 lber, but Tito a natural 160 lber :huh

Counter this evidence. Boxers move up in weight because their bodies grow out of the weight.

That's not evidence, that's a statement. It is also a statement that you apply according to what suits your argument at the time.

Why did Morales have trouble making 122 at age 28?

It's because his body grew out of it.

    The body changes.

I would not consider a 26 year old fighter who is rehydrating 8 lbs at 147 (5.2% above the division limit) to be significantly draining himself to make the weight and in need of moving up TWO divisions in the near future. I would consider a 25 year old fighter who is draining 144 lbs to make 130 (9.7% above the division limit) to be draining himself. And yet you consider Tito to be a natural MW and Pac to be a natural FW who needs to move DOWN in weight to be at his natural weight. :huh

Morales never fought at 122 past the age of 23 :huh
