You might have a point if you weren't so incredibly inconsistent in how you apply your logic to suit an agenda.
It was a great performance but I wonder what might have happened if Kessler hadn't went into that fight with glass hands. Calzaghe didn't want to even fight Kessler.
Bernard has had a legendary career, is a true ATG and definitely one of the 50 greatest boxers to ever lace up a pair of gloves. I've seen him fight since his early MW days, and I'd say he was at his absolute peak between 1997-1999, so a couple years short of when he fought Tito Trinidad. What he's done after he was out of his absolute prime just adds on to his greatness. I get that Calzaghe has a win over him, but Hopkins' overall resume and level of competition easily trumps what Joe C did. It's really not even that close. If Calzaghe took on better competition from earlier on on in his career, than who knows how great he actually would've been.
I'd place Bhop ahead easily. Comparing Calzaghe and Floyd would make more sense since their claim to ATG status is based on their 0 in which case Calzaghe would rank ahead since he actually won all his fights to get the 0 although his win over Bhop is kind of like Floyd's win over Mosley where both would most likely lose if they fought them while they were still in their primes.
