The Brazilian madman has failed to make the Flyweight limit. Even though a small bantam, he's missed weight by a lb in his first attempted cut to Fly, which coincides with his UFC debut. Not sure about the circumstances but 'the commission would not allow him to cut any more weight' (source: Bloodyelbow).

A real shame, and I hope it's just a one-off, as he should already be right up there with the best in the fledgling division. If he and Dodson both win tonight, it's a natural no.1 contenders matchup. To be honest, both could warrant a shot based off a single win anyway :D

For those that don't know, Lineker is like a mini-Wanderlei. His chin is absolute granite, and he will swing for the fences even when he's on his back! He is only 22 years old and has had 24 fights :yikes He's on a 14 fight winning streak, all at 135, and has shown a willingness and ability to trade with bigger guys with no regard to his safety and mix it up on the ground, with hurtful g'n'p and seemingly solid sub defence.

Absolutely brutal K.O, about a minute in

    Good showing and fun highlight

Gaudinot is a natural fly in every sense of the word (the green haired guy from TUF) and if Lineker is struggling with the weight, could Gaudinot finally get on the 'W' column under the Zuffa banner? he was highly touted going into TUF, and is a well-rounded fighter who trains with Jacksons. Against Lineker, who is a strong guy capable of dealing with bantams, Gaudinot will not be at a big size disadvantage as he has been recently.

Lineker is very strong though. How does everyone see this going? Not a Rumble Johnson scenario but any means, but not good whatever way you look at it, hard to see long-term prospects for him up at 135.

First time iv seen the guy Flea. I'm not really into the lower weights at all. Looking at him though he sure doesn't look like a Flyweight? More like a Lightweight at least. Nice aggressive fighter though.

He looks a strong bantam but seeing as he's always undersized I can see why the move down has come about (good chance to get into the mix)

Dodson is the man anyways ;-) You like featherweights in boxing don't you? Everyone apart from Mighty Mouse is cutting anyway, they're all about Floyd's size in reality :D
