No. He shouldn't. No personal grudge against the guy but he was an ordinary fighter. If you let every dude who goes out on his shield after having a decent to good career into the hall of fame, it loses its value. If he gets in, it will be a real shame.
he should not, hof is for great awesome fighters, atg for the most special best out there, john ruiz is just a regular dude with a boring style that was active in a weak era. Probs for him showing heart against haye though.
For the only fact that he was the first hispanic heavy weight champion, I think that's enough, regardless of how annoying his fighting style was.

I think it will be a while, but I bet he will. First Latino heavyweight champ will help him get in quite a bit. Love him or hate him, he did much more with his mediocre ability than many more fighters much more talented.
