Will Joshua grow a pair and fight Doughnut Wilder next?

Don't be silly, Joshua fight Wilder next? One of the worst posts I've seen on here, that is saying a lot! Joshua doesn't deserve a shot and it would another bad mark on boxing if he was to get a shot after what he has done. Wilder is clearly a good fighter, I haven't seen the fight from last night yet, and I heard he was terrible last night but remember the Stiverne fight, he was very good, Stiverne is a good fighter and he made him look very poor. The title is there for the taking but not for a novice like AJ, but for Povetkin it should be an easy win.

 

Chisora knew that would likely be his only ever shot at a world title as he doesn't have the natural skill and ability that AJ has, I'm pretty sure there is no debate to be had over that. AJ however if he works his way up as he is doing then he is likely to get a title shot whenever he wants, therefore can do it when he has the greatest chance/ when he is at his best. The best opportunity he will have is when Wlad hangs them up and there are 3 vacant belts and I guarantee that is when he will in his first title. No top prospect would take this fight, whether you believe it or not Wilder is a seriously dangerous fight for anyone, he still hits very hard.

 

Do u really think he is going to fight Wilder and end up in a fight with Wlad in 9 months time?

No I dont think so

Either he fights Wlad in 2 years or waits until he retires

If Joshua gets beaten by Wlad he will be condemned to the bum bin until his mid 30s

Eddie Hearn will be a victim of what Khan is right now, he will be terrified of the consequences of the quite high chance that Joshua loses to Wlad

 

Reckon AJ would happily fight wilder next, Eddie I doubt though.

And of course there's the povetkin situation, can't see wilder defending in Russia so potential for Joshua/povetkin?

Already we are at a really small pool of people to choose from, then cut out everyone that cant be bothered to train properly etc

 

It's all very good rushing AJ but say he does jump in and beat Wilder (which I believe he would with ease) then he is fighting the likes of Povetkin in his 15th or 16th fight.

Is AJ experienced enough after such a short amateur and pro career for the likes of Povetkin?

There is no need to rush AJ, just let him develope.

I will be impressed if he fights any guy who is on the way up. I doubt he does.

 

Joshua would beat wilder easily but i agree with other posters he hasn't fought anyone yet. He has had everything his own way so far and watching wilder struggle against the first person to land a decent punch should give a good indication to aj of the levels he needs to achieve before going for a title

 

if he's ranked no 2 in the rankings tho, whats the point in waiting? wilder is shyte everyone can see what, AJ should be favourite. The only issue is I think wilder has to fight his mando next, which is povetkin, I doubt he'll take any step aside money so wilder probably won't have his belt for long. If AJ does win the belt thought, expect him to be on PPV fights from now on!
