Will Joshua vs Pulev sell out Millennium Stadium?

I don't think Fury could knock Joshua out mate, if he was tired and he landed sweet then you never know it's heavyweight boxing. I think AJ would have his work cut out trying to land on Fury. Fury is the much bigger, taller man with a quality jab so AJ would have to deal with that. Fury possesses much better footwork, movement etc he's a nightmare to fight against and in the clinch, that's a lot of weight leaning on you tiring out those big muscles. This is presuming Fury gets back to his best which we won't know till he comes back.

 

Pulev seems a boring fight. He's a decent opponent but nothing to get excited about.

I have to believe he stands some sort of chance of pulling an upset to have any interest in this fight whatsoever.

Can't imagine paying and travelling to be in a stadium in Wales on a cold October night to get a faint glimpse of this fight when i could watch it in a pub or at home or simply do something better that night.
If it sells out, that's good, but how many here are keen to go ?

 

Really. I am Celtic and believe me I was more than happy when Rangers died. The newly formed club could of stayed at the bottom of Scottish football for all I care. Don't miss them one bit.

Fury is finished. Even if he does somehow manage to get into fighting shape not a chance he could beat AJ now.

 

I just don't see that TF has the power to get AJs respect. I think AJ would try and walk him down early and be very direct. He would most certainly be a lot more active and aggressive than Wlad was against TF.

 

When AJ loses, it could well be by stoppage, and due to tiredness, not any big punches.

I doubt Tyson Fury will ever really be back now, in any sort of shape. 6 months ago there was still hope, but no longer. It's pointless to talk about him now. That's the fight Hearn and AJ want but they know Fury's done.

 

It will sell out but Eddie needs a really decent undercard to make it work for PPV

 

Rivalries create and maintain people's interest in a sport. Celtic and Rangers hate each other but they also badly need each other (especially in that league). Joshua has given boxing a huge popularity boost...but it will dwindle unless rivalries can be cultivated. That's exactly why he's calling out Fury.

 

Celtic also died when it became a new entity in the form of a PLC mate - the old organisation took its place with Third Lanark and Clydebank. All that history gone.

 

Calzage could sell out stadiums in Wales because he was a Welsh legend, pretty bold to expect Joshua to do that vs Pulev.

 

AJ sold out Wembley in his 18th fight, and i bet there was several thousand in there that weren't English, He can sell out arenas anywhere in the UK

 

It's a 74k stadium, not a 20k arena you clown. Some of those 90k tickets were bought by Wladimir supporters believe it or not.

 

umm i doubt many travelled from ukraine, if you litsen to the crowd when aj got dropped there wasn't many cheers, and its not like they struggled to sell out 20k, hearn said he could have sold 40-60k for aj whyte 2 years ago.

It's 10 times the stadium Wembley is. Wembley is a soulless hole in the middle of nowhere. The Millennium is slap bang in the middle of Cardiff and as you say, it has a closable roof to create an amazing atmosphere.

How on earth was the new Wembley built without one??
