This is the 64,000 question. Joshua's chin doesn't seem to be as fragile as Wilder's, but some doubts have arisen. Will Wlad's thunderous shots expose a fragile mandible that Joshua is packing?
Maybe maybe not. If Wlad can't pull the trigger anymore, he may not land anything of consequence to test AJs chin
Joshua sure doesn't fight like a guy with a weak chin. Wlad does however and that will be the difference in this fight.
But Wlad also knows how to smother and take away offensive punches away from fighters. Even Fury did not land much on him. He had him befuddled rather than hurt. So I cant see AJ really landing that often on Wlad unless Wlad has just become very old.
Doesn't look too difficult a target to hit, unlike Haye and Fury who were very hard to tag. Wlad will wear him out and then go in for the kill.
Every other month we hear stories of Joshua getting dropped in sparring, so there is no question that his chin is weak.
We know about three guys who have dropped him: Whyte, Price and Okolie. Not really Sanders or Brewster are they.
That's possible. But it's also quite possible that his mandible is tested, and doesn't pass the test!
Anthony Joshua has a glass mandible, there is no denying it. He's packing more glass than the Empire State building. He's more fragile than the finest fine China from China. His whiskers are more disgraceful than Hillary Clintons emails, and More absurd than Donald Trumps small hands. Joshua may look menacing but looks can be deceiving, just stare at Ted Cruz for 5 minutes and you will know.
It's a heavyweight fight between 2 of the larger size and biggest punchers of the sport. A flush landed punch surely can change the course of the fight. Both are capable of knocking out each other and I hope we got to see one next week.
Whyte staggered and hurt Joshua, and he can't punch, so that is a good question. I do know that Vlad's defense is much better than Joshua's and Vlad has fought the far superior opposition..............Joshua has never fought anyone good, except spar with Vlad and Vlad totally outclassed him then, did Vlad really go down hill that much? Did Joshua improve that much? Not so sure.............
As long as he doesn't get hit with anything big he's fine. Though I did find this article randomly (I wasn't looking for this type of story). http://pulse.com.gh/sports/boxing-anthony-joshua-knocked-out-in-sparring-session-id6502004.html This time it's Wach.
