Kahn has some outstanding skills and looks like he has the makings of a great fighter ...............:nono Or Maybe he will just be a borderline eilte fighter and have a couple unexpecting ko losses between some great wins?

    what do you guys think?

He's very talented but I don't see him as having the kind of strength and ferocity of a Terry Norris, and Norris went through spells of dominance between his unfortunate mishaps that I don't see Khan having at any time. But I also think Khan will eventually try welter and light middle whereas Terry was only a 154-pound champion.

I think Khan will shock the world with a very dramatic win over a very admired fighter. I predict it will happen in one and a half years. I predict the fighter he beats would be unbeaten for the next year and a half. Khan afterwards would become p4p#1 on Ring's ratings and move up to 154. This shall all come to pass. So it is written. :eek:ld

I want to see how his chin holds up against a decent puncher at 140 and above before I make up my mind.

Prescott KO was bad, but look at Pac. He was KO'd early in his career and I don't see anyone questioning his chin now. Khan has the same handlers as Pac now, so yeah just wait and see. Maidana fight could go a ways to determining how good/bad his chin really is.

Oscar also was dropped and hurt against B and C level guys when he was at 130/135 and his chin has turned out to be as solid as they come

Maybe. Khan of course needs to start hitting opponents on the floor with regularity before he is a true Terry Norris.

Norris was better than Khan is now, but Khan still has room to improve.

I agree about Khan being able to compete and multiple weights while Norris stayed at 154 (he was a small JMW and would've gotten crushed by those top fighters at 160 IMO). Khan has a big frame for a JWW, especially for someone who was fighting at 135 a year ago.

thats some big talk! but i kind of agree with you, i can see him looking great in wins against Bradley,Alexande,Maidaian, or Ortiz but i also see him getting knocked out by one of those guys.:think

The Pac knockouts were pretty iffy. One was a body shot and one, I've seen, looked to me like he was hit in the crotch, went backwards and cracked his little underaged head and the announcers said Pacquiao lots because he was cocky,.

I don't know, I wasn't super impressed with Khans performance tbh. He showed some technical flaws (that can be worked on) . I can't say for sure if he'll wind up being an elite fighter. He's definitely got talent - he's fast, good power. He looked a little wild in this fight and didn't show a lot of boxing IQ by ignoring the body and headhunting so much. He needs to work on some of these things before he steps up in competition.

Certainly can't. If he had a Hagler type of beard, he would've been superman at 154, imo.

    I agree 100%.
I can see Khan inheriting the PPV kingdom from Pac and PBF, but yeah, he's very vulnerable. Whatever's gonna happen, its gonna be fun to watch. I think he's gonna get a lotta fans because you never know what's gonna happen, in that way he reminds me of a young DLH too. He's got world class potential, that's for sure. :good

He needs to knock Maidana out next fight to leave no doubts anymore.

The chin issue isn't entirely true. He used to bum rush people and leave himself wide open in the process. If you get popped on the chin whilst rushing in you are going to get put on you arse. He was moved along very quickly and was getting caught off balance lots. Now he has a good trainer who has tightened up his defence and his balance seems lots better. The jury is still out until he fughts a Maidana, Bradley, Alexander etc but the future looks promising at the moment.
