Will Kell brook ever make it to the number 1 best welterweight?

His resume is so **** for a 27 year old who has been pro for so long, you would have thought he would have been in there with some top guys now, not just Euro level guys like that Pole he destroyed and Hatton.

Carson Jones is seen as a tough gatekeeper/Journeyman and he almost got stopped by him. Not good signs and i wouldn't make him favorite against any of the top names at 147.

But we will only ever know how good he is when he actually fights a top quality fighter (almost got the Devon fight but we all know what happened there), i want to see him fight one of these:

Robert Guerrero
Marcos Rene Maidana
Luis Carlos Abregu
Andre Berto
Keith Thurman
Ruslan Provodnikov
Amir Khan
Victor Ortiz

At a push even Josesito Lopez, Jesus Soto Karass or Vyacheslav Senchenko would do.

 

He's won 4 title eliminators & still hasn't had a world title fight, I wonder if that's a record.
