Quite right but you can always consider this a straight yes/ no.

Weight was an issue yet he wants to fight at that weight again? One time thing for the belts.

He'll rematch Martinez, but I don't see him winning. I see him getting beat worse, to be honest.

He'll probably move up to SMW, which is a pretty talent-rich division. I don't see him fairing well there.

Lets be honest Pavlik was adapting to Martinez style,he was beginning to catch on and was winning the mid rounds,he even caught Martinez and dropped him

Its when Kelly got badly cut everything went down hill

I give Pavlik a pretty good shot to Beat Martinez in the rematch,it wont be easy though

But then again Kelly could very well get another ass whooping,I can see that happening again,Martinez is no joke

I really don't know. They said at the start of camp he had more 'pop' than ever. 168 has the bigger fights for sure. I think he beats Froch and Abraham. Let's see what Kessler has left against Froch but I think that is a close fight. Green wouldn't fight him before, turned down good money.

sound assessment, but after all the time he had to prepare he still struggled to make weight and even rehydrated incredibly high making him quite slow. Also his face had multiple serious lacerations that cut easily re-open Martinez knows this and he is gonna bring it next time. :bbb

i'm not willing to write him off yet and as i haven't seen the fight yet, i can't comment on it i just don't see him having that much success at 168.

it's probably the richest, and most diverse, division right now and variety is not really part of kelly's game.

i agree he takes froch but i don't see him taking abraham. kessler is a mystery right now as to what he still has but pre-ward, i don't see kelly winning

green is a ****ing joke :!:

With all the title belts out there sure he could. Will he win a legit WBC, WBA, IBF or WBO title? If I had to guess? Probably. He has power and if he fights enough his power will reach someone's chin. He just has to persevere and put the losses behind him.

Only if Kelly doesn't invoke the rematch clause, and Williams get a rematch with Martinez and wins, and gets a fight with Williams. Then he could just fight his fight since he doesn't have to chase after Williams like he did with Martinez since Willilams will be standing right in front of him like Miranda and Taylor did and duke it out.

If he takes the rematch clause, he's ****ed.

I don't think Williams will be an easy fight.

Kelly has been champ. I'm not sure belt holder would be the same for him. But, I hear he made 2.5 mill for this one. After taxes, trainer, etc..., not sure what that leaves him but financially he is just feathering the nest now. He has indicated that he has money put aside for the wife and kids right now so he really has to assess what he wants from boxing at this point.

Anybody can pick up a belt nowadays, so yeah its possible. I dont think he'll ever beat a top fighter again though. The book is out on Pav, and the elite guys will simply keep exposing his flaws.... which are that he's just a slow, and basic 1-2 fighter who cant handle speed or lateral movement.
