NO! Because Pavlik is white andWilliams is black. And, everyone knows that black guys always beat white guys in a fight. It's just common sense.

 

You're the one basing your logic on the 6th Rocky movie, acting like Tarver's decision win over Rocky proves something in real life and it doesn't. You might as well believe white Euro fighters are the best HW's ever because black American HW's have gone all the way to Germany to get KO'd by the Klitschkos. Both logics I mentioned are flawed anyways, there's good boxers among all racial groups.

TH3 Goat: I gotta say for someone who thinks he has this one all figured out, you sure seem nervous for your fighter; you have by far the most posts on pavlik/williams threads (Even more than booradley, which is really saying something).
Like you, I think that Paul's southpaw style, high output, and uncommonly long reach could give him the edge in this fight. I agree with you there. But you're trying to get away with saying some stupid ****. You keep saying Paul has 27 ko's. Great, we get it. But this stat cuts both ways. Kelly has 30 ko's. Now I'm no doctor, but I'm pretty sure 30 divided by 34 is greater than 27 divided by 37. But then again I've always been horrible at math...
It wouldn't hurt your analysis either to note that all of Kelly's ko's have occurred in the middleweight division. Paul has ko'd 26 welterweights, 1 junior middleweight, and zero middleweights.
And do me a favor and quit spewing this Great White Hope stuff. That **** got old a long time ago. I'm also pretty sure the metaphor doesn't work in this case: whatever hopes Kelly had of becoming a champion have been realized, regardless of his skin color. And judging by your own previous posts, your own hopes for Paul Williams to win on October 3 are at least partially racially motivated. That makes you a hypocrite.

Being a 110 post noob, you're probably not familiar with the fact that it's customary to give reasons and analysis when you make a prediction. Do so, or **** OFF AND STOP TROLLING.

 

Pavlik has 31 KO's, not 30. They did not all happen at middleweight. He has a handful around 154 from very early in his career, and 11 KO's at SMW or LHW.

I really cannot understand why people can't see how easy this fight is to pick. Williams is going to be left slumped in a corner after all is said and done. It ain't gonna be funny.

The Wright and Phillips fight's are worrying for PWill. If he fights Kelly like he fought those two guys, then he goes to sleep.

 

He actually is a blown up WW. Pav should really be fighting at 168.
