Cannot understand for the life of me why so many people are thinking Kessler is getting stopped purely based on Froch last two outings? His confidence will certainly be sky high but unlike Bute I don't see Kessler backing up and ending up on the ropes like a punch bag. Folk need to remember Kessler has been in there with him before and got the win all be it only by 2 rounds in my opinion. He will have nothing to fear, work behind that solid jab and a think will surprise a few folk with combos. A actually think this will end up more of a tear up than the first fight and will be really hard to call but cannot see Kessler getting stopped unless it is due to a cut.

Really intriqued to see who wins and if Froch pulls it out the bag in style then a take my hat off to him.

Let's be honest. Kessler was damaged goods when he fought Froch the first time. Good but still damaged goods.

I have absolutely no interest or history in discrediting Froch's wins at all, mate. Were you reading the posts at the time of the build-up saying "If this were the Kessler of the Calzaghe fight I'd pick him easy but now I'm not so sure." and the like? I said in my post he was still good. Just as he's still good now. But, no, he's not and wasn't for the first fight nearly as sharp as he had been at his peak, because he was a faded fighter by then, and it's just easy to see if you watch the fights. He's been through the ringer. It's well documented, I'm sorry to point out. It's certainly not revisionism to detract from a fighter I like, and don't like anymore than Kessler. Of course, you've apparently marked Froch's official and non-controversial loss down as a win, so that shows where you're coming from, I guess.

I can't see either getting stopped to be honest. My pick is another Kessler points win. It will be pretty much the same as last time only not as brutal with kessler using his boxing skills more than he did last time.
I think some people are thinking this will be like Bute again. Kessler won't fall apart like that. No way!

I think Froch is going to box a lot more in this one and win a decision. He has the skillset, just needs to tone down the brawling.

I can't see Froch stopping Kessler, and I don't believe he will try to, either.

The reason I believe Carl lost the first fight was a lack of a solid strategy, or if he had one he never stuck to it. He let Kessler do his own thing and couldn't make his mind up how to deal with it.

Skill wise, I think Froch peaked ages ago, but his overall ring craft hasimproved greatly recently. He listens to his corner, sticks to the plan, and doesn't seem so hot headed these days. Kessler never needed to improve, so he hasn't evolved. Froch did, and that's why he'll outbox Kessler rather than try and stop him.
