Ive just put £10 on barrera to stop Khan from rounds 1-3 (11/1) and £10 on him stopping Khan in 4-6 (10/1). What do you guys think.

3-1 on Barrera winning on points. Thats crap theres no way a 35 year old can beat a 22 year old on points

I just think Barrera has to catch him in the first few rounds and Khan won't be able to take it.

Despite what we all know about Barrera I find this hard to believe that will happen. Khan will not be anywhere near danger in this fight. Freddy just told him if you can't beat Barrera find a job elsewhere.

Whichever way this goes I can't help but feel it's going the distance.
I'm picking Khan UD and hope Barerra gives him a hell of a fight.

I think predicting the round or even quarter of the fight is always dodgy, but I'm also going with Barrera by KO at 11-4.

I just hope this fight lasts many good rounds and lives up to its hype.

Well, it's not the gamblers dreamfight. Too many issues and question marks. I can imagine many scenarios:
-Young Khan staying defensive and outjabbing MAB to win a clear decision
-Prepared but defensive Barrera wins a close UD/MD/SD
-Barrera unleashes an effective combo or catches Khan rushing in, it can happen from R1 to R12
-Khan overwhelmes Barrera to get mid to late stoppage
-Khan opens up Barrera cut to end fight at any round

If Khan wouldn't have such a weak chin, a comfortable UD would be the most logical choice, therefore a safe bet. And in the end, if he warms up properly, survives the first 3 rounds without a scare, gets into rhythm and uses his height, speed and punch output advantage, it will happen on Saturday. But you'll never know with Khan. That makes this fight so interesting. Frank Warren is either the smartest SOB, or made a totally wrong choice here/cashing out on Khan. Warren usually does the first.

It's not the most predictable and there are a few different possible outcomes that wouldn't be a big shock as you say. But you are always playing with probabilities whenever you bet on anything and I think in this case the odds on ofer for a stoppage by Barrera are good given the chances of it happening.

For me the key to this fight is Khan's game plan which Roach will lay out, he needs to carry this out word for word. If Khan makes mistakes vs MAB he will jump on him and make Khan pay. Khan needs to keep pumping that fast jab, I see this fast jab and in out of range punches unsettling MAB after a few rounds and will force MAB to try going for Khan in the 4/5 rounds, this is when Khan can counter and turn up the heat. Khan needs to use all his reach adv, fast feet, and fast jab to win this fight.

I see Khan stopping MAB in the 6th.

Ive gone for Khan TKO 6, but ive changed my mind about this fight constantly and youve just summed up why perfectly.

The only outcome I cant fathom happening is for Khan to completley spark Marco. Other than that, nothing would come as a shock, or even mild surprise. It's ****ed up.

Thank **** I havent put any money on it.

Hmmm I don't think there is much on that, if anyone stops it, it will be Khan, but Barrera hasn't exactly proved himself to be chinny, only a few KO/KDs against some big and quality oponents. Remeber Khan has a got an iron chin.
