Amir always seem's to point out that the sparring sessions between them are 'wars', that he has sparked Manny and vice versa etc. He also seem's like a guy (to me, anyway) that would do such a thing just to get that big pay day in right now. No loyalty etc. I reckon he'll do it within the next 3-6 months. Thoughts?
I reckon you're talking ****. :good Just like actual sparring incidents aren't taking seriously, comments about them shouldn't, either. When Khan mentions giving Pac tough sparring sessions, he's just talking about his own development as a fighter, and exemplifies the confidence boost he recieves after being in the presence of a legend. That's all. To think he would ditch Roach and Ariza on his own accord, and fight Pac, is ridiculous.
He is taking little digs at Manny. I dont think he's happy with Roach saying "Mannys my guy, if i had to choose between him and amir"
Khan is a little simple but Pac lights him up. Much better to go after Floyd who has less chance of ko'ing him and his laid back style would allow him to believe he could win and maybe win him some rounds rather than a first round ko at the hands of pac.
i wouldn't be shocked but don't think it will happen, i'd imagine Oscar is whispering all sorts of things in Khans ear at the moment
Bigger punchers than Khan have smacked Manny around and he's taken it. Manny would destroy Amir in a couple of rounds at best.
Bigger fighters but slow fighters. Khan could dish it out too, and had height and reach advantage. What kills Khan's chances in this fight, is his footwork. and ring IQ is not quite there yet. Marquez is an awesome fighter and can neutralize pac's offense. But Khan doesn't have the seasoning yet. Too early for Khan to fight Pac.
