Will Khan eventually take the Brook fight as De La Hoya did against Vargas?

    It was highly publicized in the media for years in the late 90's early 00's that Fernando Vargas wanted to fight Oscar De La Hoya after claims that De La Hoya laughed at Vargas as he fell in a snow bank while both were training in big Bear for separate fights.

    Oscar was quoted many times saying that he wasn't going to give Vargas a payday, but then moved up to 154 where both were champions and the fight was bigger. He said" He never wanted to give him the payday, but he budged because he just didn't like the guy!"

    Should Khan just go ahead and Budge, and take the risk against his arch rival, to prove he doesn't duck anybody and takes on all challengers, as he claims? There's real bad blood between the two fighters, and would be huge in the UK.

    Nothing to discuss that hasn't already 1000 times. Why this fight hasn't happened is a reflection of how the sport of Boxing is these days.

    When you have a fighter of Khan's ability refusing to fight in a huge mega fight like this in the UK then what chance have we got of genuine fights getting made regulary?

    Do you think Khan is going get tired of the public saying he's ducking and the Brook callouts that he might just say, screw it, and make the fight?

    The fight won't ever happen .

    Its a shame. These are 2 talented fighters .

    But Brook should go on to bigger and better things and start to showcase his greatness up at 154 pounds .

    Khan should try to bounce back and get a big fight soon .
