With all the talk over the referee, deducting points, pushing and pushing heads down etc etc from the Khan fight, how much do you think that will affect the referees and fighters going into Ward / Froch, with it being so fresh in the memory and media coverage? Ward fights in an extremely effective manner - but it's difficult to referee. Lots of clinches, and often after attacks, he'll drop his head low, and tie up to protect himself, but against Abraham we saw him AA trying to tie him up a lot also, when it was unclear (to me at least) who was doing the spoiling at times. He's had the rub of the green on home turf (with use of the head etc) - but I think both fighters might need to be careful in the final. Unlikely to affect Ward and Froch's tactics maybe, but I wouldn't be surprised to see points deductions in this one. Could be interesting. It might have no bearing whatsoever though...and I may have just spewed a load of garbage into the forum...
Just posted in another thread it might help lessen the pressure for Froch in terms of Khan losing and the talk being Khan,Ref's and imaginary headbutts.
