He wasn't caught doing it right after the fight so unfortunately nothing will be done about it. Same thing happened with Mosley/DLH II(despite the result being a robbery), Mosley admitted to taking illegal substances for that one and nothing was done since he passed their tests.
What about Khan Peterson 2? Should the titles only be made available to Khan if he were to win? or will Pete be replaced? And I actually feel a bit sorry for Khan. Still a whinny little ***.
No, Mosley admtted to cheating before the Oscar fight and that stayed the same, since he was never caught. Peterson will likely be fined though and suspended.
the mosley/peterson example is a bit tenuous. 1)mosley never failed a drug test... 2) mosley said what he did before the grand jury in sealed testimony that wasn't released for years... 3) mosley never really admitted using roids...he just admitted taking what balco gave him & detailed how & when...without ever admitting he used roids...we know he did but there is absolutely no proof (that was what that mosley/conte lawsuit was about). 4) odlh never asked for it to be ruled a nc.. vs 1) peterson failed a drug test. 2) it is in the public domain months later not years later. 3) peterson said to the testers "oh yeah...that musta been them roids i was taking before the first fight...don't worry...it's cool". 4) khan will damn sure ask for that result to be overturned. imo it should happen. this whole thing is a ****ing mess. peterson looks like a chump & his cover story (which is blatantly a lie) has dropped him in even deeper ****.
Would this be up to the DC commission? Seems he may have beaten their test fair and square by micro-dosing.
Khan can move on with his career now since I think the rematch will be called off. Peterson sort of ruined his own reputation.
