If Ortiz loses the rematch to Wilder in November, will he retire?

Last time he retired was 1957. He's on his 3rd comeback now.

Yeah he should, he had been through three life cycles already, in his previous life he was also Luis Ortiz

Look at his opposition since the wilder fight, he’s just been waiting for his shot and if he loses again that’s it. Which it will be.

No it's a dreadful idea. He should never have had tyres fitted in the first place.

Yes. From climbing buildings in the 30's to boxing through the 60's to 2010's, it's time for a break.

Well I doubt that he will get another title shot in case he loses, however, if he can box the same level he showed in the first fight against Wilder (and even improve), I would love to see him in some other good fights. Sadly Dillian Whyte seems to be out of the game for the moment. Someone like Pulev, Rivas, Chisora, Parker would be good to watch.

Ortiz comes across as a very determined, stubborn man. If he doesn’t get completely destroyed by Wilder I could see him convincing himself he’s still got it and going for another big fight or two before he retires. I hope Ortiz surprises me and produces a good fight, but I expect him to look pretty ancient in the rematch.

Not sure about him retiring or not

but I think Ortiz has a very good shot at beating the vastly overrated wilder

after all the first fight, wilder was given too much unfair recovery time, and Ortiz could’ve finished him had th3 fogh5 no4 been stopped

Even The commentators pointed that out

Wilder is an overrated clown. Go Ortiz!
