Are you ****ing kidding me? It just backed up what I already said.:rofl Vitali was Lewis' madatory challenger. Lewis HAD to fight Vitali later that year. When Johnson pulled out Vitali was the ONLY replacement that HBO or the venue would accept! So, either Lewis had to fight Vitali then... or scrap the card and fight Vitali next anyways. You guys are amazing.
Blah blah blah. Maybe it's because all the black fighters you listed are ****ing unlikable douchebags? Oh no, that can't be it, it's gotta be racism... My problem with Lennox is that he always talks **** about the Klitschko's, and retired rather than rematch with Vitali. Furthermore, Vitali was punking him until Lennox cut Vitali, so I call BS on him. It's real ****ing easy to talk **** now that your legacy isn't on the line, where was his big mouth when he could have fought a rematch with Vitali? Right... He's just scared that they're his equals or better. For all the Klitschko haters, his insecurity is telling.
Lewis has been respectful and complimentary about the Klitschkos lately. Can't blame him for not wanting the rematch with Vitali. Like Dempsey once said, "Sometimes when you get one more fight, something happens to you, you are not the same anymore." Brewster at his best could possibly beat McCall, Rahman or Joe Frazier.
I think that you need to read again. I know exactly what I said, and that article did nothing but verify exactly what I said. Go back and do some research. Lewis and Vitali were in negotiations on and off again for a year before they fought. Lewis was going to have to fight Vitali anyways because Vitali was his mandatory. The WBC wouldn't even sanction Lewis vs Johnson as a title fight. That was a very pathetic title defense for Lewis to be scheduling after an entire year sitting on the title without fighting. Vitali was the #1 rated Challenger since June of 2002. He had taken the matter to court as well. Like I said... do a little research.
