big brother's comeback was one of the worst things to happen to wlad career and legacy wise

 

no because they are so bitter towards him it is unreal....he smashed all there top fighters and was the best in the world :yep

 

I think most people who disliked him when he was active,myself included have realised how good he actually was.
Americans will always point to the 2 KO loses though.They were bad defeats,against good but not outstanding fighters and American fans in general tend not to let things like that go.They give him a lot more respect in the states than they used to but will always drag those 2 loses up.

simple really the two loses the "yanks" always picked up on lewis..he avenged..but they never speak of them :yep he was easily the most avoided fighter i can recall..no wonder the guy was class.

He might scrape into my top 10 HWs of all-time.

He's become incredibly overrated in recent years.

 

I think he gets the respect he deserves. Discounting idiots like Zakman of course.
Even Unforgiven who feels he's incrediably overated could still feasibly have him in his own top 10 which in my book counts as quite high praise.
He's an atg imo and weather he's ranked at 3 or 9 dosen't amount to a huge amount. We could be possibly splitting hairs here.
