Linares may be very weak for a #1 ranked fighter. But he is the #1 lightweight in the world. So if Lomo makes him quit moving up in weight, clearly should be viewed as impressive to all.

I don't think Linares would ever quit in a fight, it's just not something he would do. I do think Lomachanko will beat him, by UD or TKO perhaps, but as good as Lomachenko is, I do expect a difficult fight while it lasts..................Linares is a good fighter, much bigger than Lomachenko and is used to the weight, Lomachenko is coming up in weight................

I never dreamt that any of Loma's previous opponents would quit in a fight. That's what makes this situation so unusual. If they quit whose to say it couldn't happen again?

If Linares quits, then he doesn't get paid.

Doubt he makes him quit, but I could certainly see Loma outboxing Linares to a lopsided decision. If he can do more than that, I'll be very much impressed.

Linares is overmatched here. There's a big gap between Loma's quality and the quality of Linares recènt opponents, some of them made him work very hard to get the win. But he'll likely go the distance, maybe with a couple of kd's thrown in there. Cant see him quitting.

I think you can take as fact (nearly everyone here agrees Linares cut's easily)

What none of us know is -where Linares stands at this stage of his career. Still in prime? Downhill Prime? Even thought they are only 2 years apart in age. there is a difference in ring age.

    Linares Age 32 Pro 16 Rounds 292
    Loma Age 30 Pro 5 Rounds 93

Since both once fought at Feather, I have no doubt Loma will bring his power up in weight like Linares did.
Is Linares ring worn? Unlike Rigenduax whose skills is more about countering IMO, Linares can initiate and will. His combinations you will find can be blistering. He mixes shots up very well.
At this point it's Loma with everything to prove, and Linares simply trying to show he is still a force. This will be a great fight for as long as it lasts!!

If loma makes Linares quit i will lose my **** and immediately state him as my p4p number 1, I see no way in hell linares quits, especially going into a fight knowing this guy has a reputation for making guy's quit that will make you no want to quit even more, I rate linares highly so if loma makes him quit i am a fully fledged convert and will finally admit he is the real deal that will be more than enough to convince me hes the real deal, so far i am not convinced.

Even if he completely schools linares but doesn't make him quit, again my level of respect and ratings of him will go though the roof, This is the type of fight i have wanted to see him in for a very long time.
