Will Loma's bad skin, and lack of power be his cryptonite?

    I don't think Rigondeaux realized that he had actually started baking the pumpkin pie. His frugal connect rate actually left Loma with some mousing. Loma also landed some hard flush shots, that Rigondeaux walked through. I think those are two key things that any future opponent should take notice of. Lomachenko isn't a big puncher, and his face damages fairly easily. Guys have to be able to come forward and pressure him, exchange with him, and pound that guard. If you let him stay back and dart in and out, he will be too quick for most guys.

    No when he moves up and someone Crawfords size just bullies him will be his undoing. Loma should stay at 130 but go no higher than 135 to stay dominate. Once he starts fighting bigger guys they will wrestle him until he is too tired to keep moving and will Maidana style bully him around the ring. He should also stay away from Mikey Garcia if he wants to remain dominate.

    What Loma lacks in power he more than makes up for in speed, accuracy and combination punching

    He can catch you with a 4 punch combo that leaves you stunned and then slip behind you before you even realise what's happened

    Lomachenko does appear to have... easily compromised skin (though not on the level of a Linares). Could see him getting cut from a punch, but no one's been able to hit him flush repeatedly.

    True, even after the Rigo win, only a few punches hit him and he had more marks than Rigo.

    Look at the post fight interview with him and his handlers. He had some mousing. Mind boggling considering Rigs frugal punch output last night. He landed a few jabs, and planted a couple power shots into Loma's guard. Maybe landed a couple left hands, but it wasn't much.

    The pumpkin face had started to be baked, but Rigs decided that his hand hurt. As far as the better shots. Well Loma did land some pity pat. The few jabs and left hand that Rigs landed seemed to be the more damaging shots, judging by Loma's face after the fight.
