Will Lucian Bute fans leave the Forum if Carl Froch knocks him out?

    im happy for any emo bitches to leave the forum, cuz thats what one does if his fighter loses....

    Im still a big Bute fan - he finally stepped up to the Elite competition

    Unfortunately, his chin isn't good enough to keep him up on that level

    He'll still be fun to watch when he whips B caliber opponents....

    I wouldnt say almost. Ward, Kessler and Froch stands out. Bute is still favoured to beat the rest.

    But Dirrell could be a task if he is mentally ready. The rest Bute should beat because he is still a fantastic fighter.

    You may have him forth....but we have a scientific ranking system that accurately rate boxers based on true standing, not hype. Before the Bute-Froch fight we had Carl ranked #2 based on the level of opposition he faced in the ring and getting through the super 6 in 2nd place.....we had Kessler third based on his credible ring performances and the fact he never lost his title in the ring and had returned to the ring. Bute was forth based on all he did and we defended that ranking against Bute fans that foolishly wanted him ranked 2nd or laughably #1.....based on what we saw from Bute this past weekend his rank will undoubtedly drop behind Steiglitz in the official ESB rankings, as Steiglitz has been doing what Bute was doing in terms of title defenses and is still currently a champion, so he will naturally get position over Bute. The new official rankings will be out on the front page for June.

    Negative, we have a panel of the greatest minds in boxing working on the placement of each boxer.....Emanuel Steward has a hand in the ESB ranking system as he helped gauge many boxers, and his input was put to great use to make these rankings the best and purest on the web.....hence why Carl Froch was ranked #2 and he destroyed #4 Bute. The rankings knew even before the fight ever happened :good

    Should a fighter be dropped just because he lost to a fighter ranked higher than him? The rankings were right IMO before the fight.

    No way Steiglitz should be ahead of Bute though IMO.

    Steiglitz has been KO'd twice. His best win is Balzsay and after that maybe Gutneckt?. Bute has Glen Johnson, Brian Magee, KOs over Berrio and Andrade (1-1 with Bute) who both KO'd Steiglitz. Not to mention Thobela in fight 9, Miranda, Brinkley etc.

    Seems like Bute is getting punished for taking on a challenge and rewarding those 'stay-at-home-fight-a-bum' type champs.

    Bute was a stay at home fight a bum champ.....the minute he left for a challange, he got stopped. Bute's best win in his career is over a 42 yo man, that had 2 bad elbows that were repaired after the fight, and was known to be a good friend and sparring partner of Bute......so that win really meant nothing nore does a win over Brian Magee who owns a fraud belt. Lots of fighters have loses early in their career, and bounce back....Steiglitz has done that and he is basicly in the position that Bute was before....defending against Bums or cherry picking fights......Bute had one fight at the top level and it shows his level....and that is below Steiglitz until he proves otherwise.

    So the facts that Bute has KO'd the TWO guys that have KO'd Steiglitz means nothing.

    He has more title defences against better opposition, fewer losses (the sole loss coming against a fighter ranked above both), higher KO % yet is going to be ranked lower.

    I guess we shall have to agree to disagree then :good

    Bute has a lot of good boxingfans and many butenuggers, and the most ALT-fans ever seen on esb.

    The good ones will return...

    The thing here is - that fighting away from home is and all new ballgame. Only US-fighters who don't travel, don't think it is a major thing.......................

    What would have happened, if these fights was fought in the opponents backyard:

    Bute-Andrade 1, Froch-Dirrell, Ward-Kessler, Kessler-Froch, Dirrell-Abraham, Mayweather-Cortiz.

    Ward going to Denmark or England and Mayweather fighting PAC away.....................:think

    Bute just got destroyed and is now ex champion.... Stieglitz last lost 4 years ago to a guy that also KO'd Bute......he has won 11 straight since, and had 7 title fights.....he is basically the new Bute.....Lucian needs to re-built and being that he was dominated when he was #4, he is clearly not even at that level right now. The ESB rankings are near perfect, and there were right before the Bute fight and they will be right when the June rankings come out :yep

    I was so ****in wrong about Lucian, anyway, I'm still a fan, still here and boxing ***** and others trolls are still there too.

    But I was so ****in wrong about Lucian, can't believe it, well its not the first time and probably not the last time I'm ****in wrong about boxing...

    Many experts had Bute winning this one.

    Don't act like you never been wrong...
