He'll bring Foreman out of retirement in a fight for all the belts. On paper it would be fair. To be more serious, I think the best thing that could happen to the division is if one of the belt holder looses their belt to one of the top contenders (of which Ortiz is one), and set up for a rematch. Or even a trilogy. That would guarantee some quality fights for the belts, defenses against Molina and Pianetas don't interest me anymore.
Sounds like a horror movie - a 50 year old dude wins all the titles. Guess what - the division will be considered as dead if this happens.
Boxing forum posters call every Wilder opponent a bum so by default Ortiz is just a bum and not worthy . . . .case closed.
Stylistic nightmare is he? My ****, I thought his counter punching coupled with his slow pace and still having stamina issues worked into both AJ and Wilder's favors given AJ at least sets a decent pace and Wilder knows how to posture.
No, this is proven to be not the case. He would not be fighting even if there was no proof of a masking agent but nothing to suggest otherwise - the fact that the levels were consistent with his medication for a legitimate health situation is why he is allowed to fight on. In fact, a good amount of the time he was off was actually him having to prove his condition is not reason to be banned for his own safety.
He stands s very good chance at taking Wilders belt, and s 50/50 chance at then beating the Joshua Parker winner (given the chance) I also might add. Of all the current undefeated heavies, Ortiz would stand the best chance at being the last man standing Go Ortiz !!
