If my memory serves me correctly. Roy Jones Jnr was undefeated and untouchable, he beat Antonio Tarver in a close but clear win in their first. Then we all know what happened in the next fight. Could Mayweather follow in the path of Jones Jnr? Getting knocked out by a guy he already beat and a guy he could and should beat with relative ease. Mayweather is around about the same time as was Jones Jnr when he got sparked. You could see Jones slowing down before that fight and he was wasn't in his prime no more. You can see a similar path here that Mayweather has followed. He isn't in his prime and uses his athletic abilities to avoid trouble. Maybe father time will get a look in and history repeats itself.

Just remember, if i had said this prior to Jones Jnr vs Tarver 2 you would laugh at it!! There's no way Jones could lose because he's too damn good. Well maybe Maidana could land one punch that Mayweather doesn't see.

Even if this is far fetched; it is worthy of thought

The move up to heavyweight and back down ****ed jones up. He shud have retired after the ruiz fight. Or weighted till he planned his last fight to go up to heavy. Even if mayweather has slipped a bit since his last fight with maidana i still think he will win handy. But theres always a punchers chance. it is boxin after all!!!

I agree Mayweather doesn't have a glass jaw but i dont remember Jones going down or getting seriously wobbled before his fight either

Roy Jones jr. had already lost prior to facing Tarver. DQ9 against Montel Griffin

I assume he's a troll, if that's what you are referring to, still comes across as very immature, unless that part of his online character.

RJJ was at his best near untouchable, but Mayweather has a more longevity oriented style being a slick counter puncher.
He does need room to counter tho, and Maidana was limiting that ability in the first fight to a certain degree.

Maidana will pull nothing against Floyd. It will be another boring 12 rounder that will leave PPV payers with a sour taste in their mouth.
