Tim isn't a big name...Pac will do around $20-$22 Mill if the PPV's are above a million... easy.

40 million is better than 20 million, but 50/50 is better than 40 million.

same way that 50 million (counter offer to floyd if true) is better than floyd's highest career payday of 40 million. but 50/50 is still better than 50 million.

That is already taken into consideration. Pacquiao gets 20 Million on average that includes his fights with Cotto & Hatton. These guys were huge draws in the sport, any amount of money they took is made up for the number of PPV buys they generate.

Now even Bradley who isn't going to get Marquez money, the situation will be Manny ending up with around $20 Million as this will be one of his lowest recent PPV since Clottey. Bare in mind Bradley got 1.05 Million to fight Casamayor you think he is getting short money to fight Manny?

Anyway if you think Manny is getting $30 Million fighting Bradley with Bob taking 27.5% then fine, I dont....not for one second.

Let's say there's a bomb at a building that only you can defuse. If it explodes, the damage will be 10 billion dollars.
They come to you and say: the most you made in a day is 200$. So, we'll give you 500$ and you go disarm this bomb.

You say: screw that! I'll go to my normal job and make my normal money. Next time there's a bomb in a building worth 10 billion dollars, they won't lowball me, and I'll get maybe a million or 10.

So, yes, while 500 might be more than you ever made in a day, you lose money by accepting such a bull**** offer.

****... you could say the counter offer of $50 Mill that was guaranteed for Floyd is better than what he stands to make with Cotto.

Floyd and PAC need each other IF they're pressed to get their biggest pay day. Without the other, they'll be subject to chump change... $20, 30, 40 million:roll:.

Why offer 40 million and not 40%?
Only complete idiots accept fixed rates for fights with such high earning potential.

People are being fooled into believing that $40 million was a good offer from Floyd, considering how Massive this fight is their will be around $140-150 million in the pot between the 2 fighters, with Pacquiao doing bigger PPV numbers and Gates than Mayweather recently there is no way he deserves less than 50-50, if Manny accepts $40 mill, Mayweather stands to make $90-100 million now is that fair? absoloutely not and this is coming from a Mayweather fan, he tends to lie and chat alot of BS esp with the postings of that Pacquiao makes $7.4 million a fight. he took around $28-30 mill against Marquez.
