If he beats Mayweather, he cracks my top 10, I have Duran at no5, will have to wait & see how exactly things unfold, right now my guess would be a definite NO.... I dont believe he will surpass Duran.

If he beats Mayweather, which I think is a strong posibility at 50/50, IMO he would have surpassed Duran. By accomplishments and sheer number of ATG's he has beaten by then, he should definitely be above.

Yes but only if he keeps working on that beard....he has a long way to go.

If he beats Floyd, then I would have to say YES! There would be no better way of retiring from the sport!

Pacman is already an icon, a superstar, but he would be like Superman if he beat Floyd! The endrosements would roll in even more, he would be loved even more, etc.

However, I still say Floyd takes him. Mayweather gave an innterview to Sky Sports the day after Cotto-Pacquiao & he seemed completely assured of himself, confident in his ability to beat Pacquiao! It was not arrogance, he must be confident for good reason!

He will never surpass duran even if he beats mayweather, duran went up and beat bigger fighters and champions, palomino, learnard, cuevas, moore and barkley and didnt make none of them boil down and make stupid catch weights, he also tuck the great marvin hagler to the wire at middleweight, and was the greatest ever lightweight. So no manny is no duran

No. His abilities aren't near Duran's. He may match him in terms of accomplishments if he e.g. beats Mayweather and Mosley.

Popkins is dreaming, it won't happen. The big injustice of course being, Floyd won't get the credit he deserves when it happens.
