Manny has not had hus chin tested above 135- de la hoya had no power and diaz was the same. If Hatton tags Pac then its all over IMO but will pac prove to be just as elusive as PBF...

Personally i think Hatton WILL tag him after a few rounds and then its all over

ricky and manny will be toe to toe, they are the same size.i think it would be a war but i think manny might get him.but we will see what mayweather sr has instore for manny and if he cant really help out ricky hatton.im going with pac as the winner but i would not be surprised if ricky won the fight !

imo, he was too eager to seperate hatton from floyd from the early parts of the fight and this got hatton frustrated from then on. he relaxed a bit after a few rounds but hatton is too out of his game coupled with floyds surprisingly good rough-elbowing tactics checked hatton until the KO part.

Given that Mickey didn't even ref Hatton vs Tszyu, I would suggest that Cortez was far worse :patsch

I think Hatton will need to hammer in his body shots and take out Paccy in the home stretch of the fight. If Paccy gets tagged early and dosent fancy trading shots, he's good enough to change his gameplan and keep his distance.
And as usual, cutting up could be a big problem for Hatton.

yes cuts may be a big factor if it goes into the later rds- Hattons face didnt look great after a feather dusting from paulie.
But I still think that Mannys chin will not cope with a left from Hatton- I think Manny will look great for a few rds then BAM Hatton will nail him

Hatton is tailor-made for Manny. Manny will use the same strategy as the De La Hoya fight, just keep moving and stay off the ropes. He's not gonna just go toe-to-toe with Hatton, they will play it smart. It will still be a great fight though, no doubt.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think Manny is unbeatable. In fact I thought he lost both fights against JMM. But, Ricky Hatton is not on Manny's level. Hatton will get embarrased against Manny. Hatton's power is VASTLY overrated. He only stops fighters in the later rounds after wearing them out. He doesn't have one punch KO power AT ALL.

Is it reasonable to think that Hatton will wear out Manny? Hell no. The only possible way he does is if the ref. alllows an inordinate amount of holding. Even then I think Manny has too much ring smarts to allow himself to be held. Manny will employ a get in, get out strategy and stop Hatton inside of 6 rounds. In fact it will be a somewhat surprising blowout.

Mark my words, Hatton will be seen as a better fighter than he is because of a blowout win against a HUGELY overrated Malifaggi. Hatton's best days are behind him, and Manny's style and attributes will be way too much for Ricky.

People were saying that a single left hook connect from Oscar will KD Pac. Pac got hit not just once but thrice consecutively on the head by Oscar's left hook while Oscar's right arm prevented the head from moving. Pac didn't appear hurt after that. I think it's safe to assume Pac can withstand Ricky's left.
