Do you stay strict with your routine? Do a touch of maintenance work? Or will you just take the time off and pick up where you left off in the new year?
Was planning on training during the hols. But last night i separated my shoulder and broke my collarbone so il be resting.
As much as possible, except for the days it will be closed. And hopefully get some strength training at home to tide me over. I don't mind taking breaks. It's just that getting back on the wagon's a pain.
that's for sure, i hate having to start things slow because i might get doms, im not able to sprint uphill because of the snow or run in general. When you get back into it, the soreness really screws up the process and takes a while till your body adapts.
Do any of you go for a run in the snow? I love it! I think I'm going to train every day up until Xmas Eve this year. Have an all out massive session first thing Xmas Eve, Do some B/W exercises over Xmas Day and Boxing Day until the gym opens and then try and keep on the wagon until the new year.
Have my second fight on the 13th jan, and got to weigh in the weel before too so will train more or less everyday and just have xmas day off in terms of diet. Im off work for nearly 3 weeks so will actually find it easier than usual.
My gyms shut for four days! I'll just eat what I want and do some running and body weight stuff. Hope the gym doesn't get full of the New Years resolution folks
Go a few little niggles so takin a week off. Dont want to but its for the best! A few beers then back on the wagon after xmas.
