    Surely not at world level? His whole face is completely fckked and even with surgery every fight from now on will revolve around the eye taking a battering surely?

    God bless Pacquiao for putting a nail in that cretin's coffin.

    Despite all the damage he's taken, he is not that old. If he wants to fight again he should do what Leonard did and rest his eye for a couple years, then if he feels like it give it one last go

    Could see him in one or two lower profile fights. Maybe back home in Mexico too. I don't see him fighting at the highest level again.

    The problem for Margarito is that anyone he fights from here on out is going to target that eye of his. Is it going to swell and cut as badly as it did in every fight now? He can't go on taking damage like that. He will end up blind in that eye if he does.

    I agree maybe focus on protecting that eye more. I don't know if he is capable because Margarito just comes forward, but i'd like to see what is next for him.

    More than likely but it will be in Mexico against a bum or two until he magicly gets another shot at the WBC 154 title that Canelo is holding and gets his eye KTFO

    He doesn't seem the sort of fighter who would want to retire on a loss. I say he'll keep fighting as a gatekeeper like someone else says or maybe just take a few easier fights in mexico.

    I hope so, because he will be as ****ed up as he might have done to SSM and who know how many other fighters. I cannot see a better fate for the *******!!

    Margarito illustrates the difference between regular people and fighters: he's a multi-millionaire, could retire like a ****ing King in Mexico, but will choose to risk blindness in one eye to get in the ring. Say what you will about the guy, he has serious cojones. Or he's nuts. Or both.
