Will Margarito Get Another Big Payday After Pacquiao?

    Reguardless if Margarito beats Pac or not, he may be in line for another big money fight. If Marg gets his @ss kicked by Pac, I dont think anyone would mind seeing Martinez attempt to avenge his loss and I think Martinez may want to pursue it. If Marg wins, then a fight with Williams or Martinez or Cotto would make sense though I imagine that Floyd would go after him then, cause thats what he does.

    I hate that Margarito even has this undeserved shot against Pacquiao, but the reality is that he may have another good payday as a result of it. Win or lose.

    It depends on whether he does or doesn't get another big payday after pacquiao. If he does, then yes. If not, no.

    I think a Rematch against Cotto would do big,

    How Big? Depending of when and where.


    Otherwise, He could get a crack against Chavez Jr./S. Alvarez. He would make some reasonable money against them.

    If he isn't in a situation where: he should already be calling it quites(de la hoya), gets blasted into oblivion(Hatton), or just stands there with his guard up the whole fight (Clottey) then yes. Win, lose, or draw he'll get big visibility out of the fight and chances are someone will come knocking.

    if he losses forget about it, if he wins, the sky is the limit there are some good fights to be made in that weight class.

    Yes. A lot of people will love to see Margarito-Cotto II. That is the fight where we will no if Margarito was using plaster. If Pac beats him, people will say its because he is Pac.

    Also, there are a few boxers than non boxing fans know. Mayweather, Pacquiao, Mosley, Cotto, Hopkins, Roy Jones, and Margarito are the only ones that are really known outside of the boxing world.

    If he loses like Clottey, he might have difficulties landing another big money fight. If he loses like Cotto, he might be considered by other named fighters or upcoming prospects who want to fight a named fighter.

    well what I am hoping is that after his destruction again Pacquiao (because Pacquiao should Murder Margarito pretty easily)...I would like Margarito to face an beat a ranked 154lbs like Cornelius Bundrage or Martirosian, just to make him relevant again...The a Rematch with Cotto!!! Would be the perfect way for Cotto to end his career. Hopefully by beating Margarito.
