Will Marquez put up a Castillo-like threat when he faces Mayweather?

Nah. Castillo was the bigger stronger fighter on the night. Castillo outweighed Floyd by 10lbs. He bullied Floyd, held and hit, punched Floyd below the belt, punched his back, anything to get at Floyd and wear him down. That is not Marquez' style.

I don't think Marquez can give Mayweather a hard time. Marquez will be too fat and slow for Mayweather during the fight night. Unlike Pacquiao, whose body is made up of toned muscles, Marquez won't be able to carry his speed and power in the catch weight against Floyd.

FMJ i think will be the same as usual being slick, defensive and cautious. As long as JMM is effectively aggressive and doesnt get caught with anything coming in i think he can win.:bbb

 

Castillo's the bigger guy and hits harder than JMM but JMM is the smarter and a much better all around fighter and I can see him performing better than Castillo was against Mayweather. IMHO, JMM will win a close strategical battle with Floyd because of his ring smartness! PAC-JMM III is still on.:happy

 

marquez has a good chance to win if he can overcome the size/weight difference. floyd will probably have around a 5-lb weight advantage during the fight.

 

I do think that Marquez will give Mayweather a damn competitive fight, but not quite like Castillo. JLC was a vey strong and rugged lightweight who managed to impose his size advantage over Floyd.. and here JMM is a completely different fighter who happens to be smaller than PBF.

 

Marquez could win this fight, but he is not supposed to win, he is paid to lose.

 

I think Pac should fight Floyd first, then as his final fight, fight JMM
