Which Scam Cheater are you talking about? Are you making up punching power? The Scam Cheater everyone else knows has never knocked out anyone in the top 10. Ever. Not even come close.

    Man, that was a shot.

Pete's going down in this fight, too. Will he pull out another UD? Can MASKAEV pull off a couple of big bombs to keep Pete down?
I think everything happens within 4 rounds!
This will be a defining fight for Peter.:bbb

There's a difference between suspect chins (Peter) and PROVEN glass (Maskaev).

That difference will be the deciding factor in this fight! :yep

If Maskaev comes in sharp, then he should be able to outbox Peter. Since his return to boxing, Maskaev has improved his defense significantly - something he lacked in his early career when he was getting matched too tough, too early.

I'd regard an unexpected war as superior preparation than a non-event against Peter ****ing Okhello (of all the heavyweights in the world) and 15 months of intensive aging. Primarily because it's conceivable that Peter will have learnt something from the McCline fight, while the best case scenario for Maskaev is that he's well into middle age.

Which is exactly my concern for Maskaev here.
Just how sharp can he be based off no in-ring time for 15 months?
Sparring can only take you so far.

If you think Peter's stock fell after the mediocre punching McCline swept the floor with him, wait til you see how much clout Peter will lose after the 39 year old Maskaev beats the hell out of him.

Sam Peter is going to prove his doubters wrong in this fight, look for Peter to knock Maskaev early. Peter had one bad fight, that ended up winning against Mccline. How many bad fights has Wlad fought, he had a sad performance against Peter where he was floored 3 times and ended up winning, **** happens.

don't make me post the picture again :yep Peter's faced look like a piece of bloody meat, both eyes closed. Wlad has had 5 impressive and dominating wins in a row. Peter has yet to string togething 2 impressive wins. he lacks consistency and that is going to be his downfall.

that being said both maskaev and peter are unknown quantities for different reasons and i see this as a 50-50 fight going in. but im gonna say oleg ud so boxing guru can make another scam cheater avatar for u :D

Peter gave Wlad trouble that night, and almost finished him off, Wlads 90 plus clinches helped him win that fight, if Peter/Wlad happend in 02 before Manny got ahold of him Wlad would of lost that fight and you know it.

I will be giving Guru a very nice avatar to sport for a month, there are so many bad pictures of Wlad on the canvas to choose from.

It is not hard to envision Maskaev hitting Sam Peter with the same shot given that Peter has even less boxing skill than Rahman. I suspect that Peter will absorb the hit somewhat better than Rahman. As for the uppercut..........

    Peter is ****

He's lucky that Maskaev is going to be equally inept, if not more so, due to his lay off

Peter is fat, slow, technically lacking and just waiting to be knocked out

I share the same feelings as a few others have posted. I'm almost on the fence now. Originally I thought Peter would ROCK Maskaev, but like has been pointed out the McCline fight raised a **** load of eyebrows. Got to remember too though that Peter hadn't fought in about a year going into that fight getting jerked around, so he too had a LONG layoff, and his opponent had been switched last minute. I don't under estimate Oleg though, he just needs to land one shot. Who knows?? I will pick as time gets nearer.
