Canelo a big boy...will Floyd Sr modify Money's training regimen and have him add more muscle and maybe come in right at 152? With a next day weight of 154?

Don't think he needs to put on any extra muscle. Just increase his strength and stay lean and quick. I think he should weigh in at 149 and he has the skills to tame that bull called Canelo.

He won't be forced to drink tap water any more, so yeah, he'll be able to maintain muscle mass. Or actually, maybe he could drink tapwater and in fact come out looking bulkier than before whilst loosing 15 pounds of muscle? :think.

Anyway, I think he should just come in as his normal self. As my brother, Mr Jota Pound-for-Pound, above me has just said, he'd be better advised to come in light as a WW so he can maintain the speed and movement he showed against Guerrero.

Coming in at 149-150 will allow him to be comfortable throughout camp...he will be able to work harder on strength and eat WELL...

Canelo is about to starve and climb a mountain leading up to the fight...and then fight something he has never seen before...

He'll come in around 150 as always.

He didnt bother putting on bulk for Cotto or De La Hoya, or indeed against big WW's like Ortiz and Baldomir.

Dont think hes gonna bother in this fight either.

He should honestly. I cant tell floyd what to do an do know what hes been doing but he would benefit even more if he developed some new school conditioning. Ive seen him do resistance work recently but who knows all of what he does

Floyd is so much faster than Canelo that I think he can sacrifice a pinch of speed to gain more strength and durability (armor).

Is it just me or did Floyd look smaller against Guerrero? He looked a lot leaner like his early days at welter. He was bulky looking against Cotto in my opinion.

But again if it aint broke dont fix it. If I was floyd i wouldnt make drastic changes. Maybe just uop the resistance

Yep, Floyd was in phenomenal shape...remember though...Cotto was at 54....
Guerrero was at 47...and Sr back in the corner...return of the slick!

As said above, if not broke don't fix it - I would add some strength training, as he will want Canelo to feel his punches - if Canelo has no fear for Mayweather's power it makes the fight harder

But I don't think Mayweather will add significant bulk Marquez style as it would take away a lot of his other attributes, I expect him to come in at a solid 150/151

I would be workin with floyd on the very basic bottom of the rep. Squat on the heels an blast up for explosion an many more movements.
