yes. he will probably whine becuase 10oz is the regulation size starting at welterweight. and he has brittle hands and its easier to block with hard to sneak a punch throgh the gloves with. great for people looking to out point. plus he loves his grants

If you're a good defense fighter like Floyd, you don't care about reducing the other guy's power. He's fought pretty much his whole career with 8 oz. gloves, he can take the punches; what little actually land. The smaller gloves are an advantage to him. There will be plenty of countering opportunities. The more power he has, the better he will be able to take advantage of these openings.
