Im starting to think a lot of people on here are fooled.

 

He will duck him until he fights him, then it's a cherrypick like Mosley. If he never fights him, he will be the new Margarito Floyd was terrified of fighting. :yep

 

Floyd has now shamefully ducked Alvarez by refusing to sign to a contract in which the two would fight in the event of a loss and will next probably cherrypick him if he beats a pushover like Trout.

Well Act I is over, the ducking claims have been started. Now we sit and wait for the cherry picker claims after he signs to fight him.

Maybe Canelo doesn't look great against Trout but pulls out the win, Floyd signs the fight for later this year. Floyd is called a cherry picker because he waited for Canelo to look vulnerable, even though it was the original date for them to fight... op

I remember when Alvarez was the favorite for 5/5/12, and ESB was in a rage claiming he was fighting a green as grass prospect rather than a champion, notable opponent, and bigger threat in Cotto. Cotto fight signed. And that was an epic cherry pick according to same people.

It's ok, the best fighter on the planet always has a large contingency of haters who say and think things that will make them look very stupid 25 years from now.
