    It wouldn't be either.

If Canelo can get past Austin Trout (and Cotto as he's been alluding to fighting afterwards), he will definitely be fighting Mayweather before his six fights are up.

Believe it or not, that would be a great challenge and accomplishment fight for both fighters. If Canelo unifies against Trout, we'll have a 3 belt holding champion at 154! WBA, WBC, and Ring. Mayweather and Canelo are #1 and #2 in their rankings, so the Ring title should be on the line. :)

On paper , Pretty boy SHOULD be able to outpoint Alvarez without too much trouble...

But no way does he take a risk and finds out for himself .

Canelo is a legit strong 154 pounder, 13 years younger than him , unlike Mayweather hes in his prime .

he did duck him already IMO. Now if he fights him in September then fair enough.

Mayweather will take the fight which makes the most money.

And Mayweather Alvarez makes alot more money than Mayweather Guerrero.

Anyone who knows boxing knows Floyd didn't make that fight because its a very high risk fight. And from a business point of view, why would you take a avery high risk fight, when you have alucrative 6 fight deal that relies on you staying undefeated.

once he signs canelo people will cry cherrypick, as the case with guerrero when people thought floyd was fighting devon they think he suddenly did a duck on the ghost but he made a 360 and haters obviously also did a 360 and went from duck to cherrypicking lmao:lol:

It was an all time duck of epic proportions just a few hours ago...

    ...Now it's a cherry pick.

    Too predictable.

    edit: good bump

    Yup

I tell people all the time that Victor Ortiz was the same way.

It's easy to criticize that fight now, but before it was signed Ortiz was seen as a monster who neither of the two big stars would dare go near.

The things I read from a ton of people, not just trolls, but everybody, is hilarious when looking back at how that fight is discussed now.
