who gives a **** about idiots who think its a cherry pick. there the same as the idiots who think pac cherry picked cotto and hatton.

I assumed floyd would duck canelo, but i'm now so happy the fights being made.

I'm even happy that there's a catchweight it, to stop floyd dick riders tanishing pacs legacy calling him catchweight king.

Plus when canelo whups him it will be an even bigger win :hey

i agree with both of these too.

But this one is slight differant. The betting line is alot closer on this one!

I hope Alvarez starts focusing on cutting weight safely from now, so that he's in great shape!

I can't actually remember much before the Ortiz bout was announced, but I do remember people massively overrating Ortiz's power.

When it comes to Mayweather, he doesn't actually help himself, but people do tend to overrate his opponents, then he picks said opponent, they become a 'cherry pick', then he beats the opponent and he was meant to beat them so easily.

if floyd's opponents are over-rated, and his resume is one of the best going, then why do people claim he 'ducked' fighters who had no place in the ring with him?

margarito's best win was cintron when everyone was calling for floyd to fight him. so he fought cotto, got busted, and lost 3 of his next 4 fights

martinez was never going to happen

    You missed my point, man.

Before a potential opponent is announced, they become this fearsome, unbeatable machine (exaggerated) who Mayweather is clearly doing everything to avoid. He then signs to box said opponent, all of a sudden, Mayweather was meant to beat this opponent and there are better options. He beats this boxer who was meant to give him his first defeat, and all of a sudden we have come full circle...from overrated to underrated.

Floyd signed a 5/6 fight deal, so he has to get opponents. There really isn't anyone else out there he could face that isn't already tied up with a fight already. He could of faced Khan, but something tells me that Khan will have 1 or 2 fights at 147 and then fight Mayweather.
