Will Mayweather ever accept 60-40 to fight Pacquiao?

Right, Manny has yet to beat Hatton and Floyd hasn't still signed to face Marquez but as Arum has made clear over and over again, a potential Pacquiao-FMJ might never come off because Floyd would never accept 40% of the overall revenue.

Do you think he'll eventually back off and let Manny get the lion's share or we'll never get to see this superfight because of Floyd's pride?

Only if Manny signs to fight with one hand tied behind his back.

No, of course he won't. After all, everyone saw how Floyd torpedoed the negotiations with DLH with his outrageous demands for a 50/50 split....oh wait, nevermind.

The only way he'll fight Pacquiao is if he takes the bigger purse than Pacquiao's.

    No, never, impossible....

Manny deserves the bigger cut, so Floyd will never fight him...

Because he's not stupid and he knows 40% of the revenue for the Pacquiao fight is much more money than what he gets for all the Marquezes, Williams, Berto etc... of the world.

    Exactly.
As a matter of fact, FMJ-Hatton and FMJ-De La Hoya generated more money, PPV and live gate revenue than any other fight Manny was involved in so Floyd would have a good point.

60/40 is an insane split, especially for an elite fight. Do you really think that would even be the initial offer, much less what they'd arrive at?

No, of course Arum and Manny would cave in a little bit, but at the end of the day Manny would want at least 55%, hence the question.

Oh, you mean 60/40 in Pacquiao's favour?! Obviously, he'll never take that!

Why on earth would Pac be entitled to 60% & FMJ 40% ? :huh

If both guys are household names then 50/50 is fair, fighters that have built a legacy to respect feel a dent in their pride when offered less, its like saying `this guy is more important or better than you so here`s 40%`
Bull****... if Arum pulls that **** then we know 100% that he doesnt want his meal ticket (Pac) in the ring with Floyd, nothing more nothing less.

50/50 for elite vs elite should be the rule, not the exception, it would cut out all the nonsense.

Simple..Floyd needs this fight, Pac doesn't.....when you're a cherrypicker your options are limited, if He doesn't fight Pac he ffights no one, cuzz he wants no part of the WW's and above, and realistically there will be no 140lber with enough money for Floyd to make off of fighting him, and we all know Floud ain't fighting for Legacy

Now on the other hand, Manny's options are endless.....so Floyd needs Manny, but Manny doesn't need Floyd, which is why at the VERY least they would have to due a 50-50 split, if not 60-40 in Manny's favor

Your delusional if you think Mayweather has any fear of Pacquiao, it would be Morales-Pac 1 all over again without the needless exchanges, in other words, a boxing lesson.
