Will Mayweather ever accept 60-40 to fight Pacquiao?

NO, Mayweatherr ...P4P VS P4P is too huge of a fight for it to be held from one party being greedy...Pacquiao would take 50 50 and the fight will happen.

In that case, if I'm Floyd, hell no. That is a slap in the face.

right now Floyd has more mainstream appeal here in the US. He would be the draw here.

I think they will negotiate to something a little closer like 55/45. Manny Pacquiao is a star no doubt, but the fight wouldn't truly be a megafight without FMJ, and therefore he deserves a little more of the profits. I mean hell, they gave atton 48% so I think Floyd can get somewhere in that range.

Like it or no, Pac is the biggest attraction in boxing right now, this is before the Hatton fight, imagine if he beats Hatton in an impressive way; I say 60-40 is a generous offer for PBF today; but everything can change in one fight

IF Pac defeats Hatton and FMJ defeats JMM then they both have 3 fighters in common and it just makes sense to split 50/50. Im pretty sure Floyd would be cool with half, Pac is usually the one acting like a prissy ***** when it comes to splitting the purse.

Pac is not bigger than Floyd, and no, he won't accept 60-40. if anything, this could be 50-50, or floyd will be paid a bit more. Pac will NEVER deserve 60-4- in his favor over Floyd...especially if Floyd beats J.M.M. Pride has nothing to do with this at all. 60-40 is too big a difference between the two fighters. Imo, Arum is the only one who would price Pac out of a fight with Floyd.

Why should he? If anything it should be 60/40 with Mayweather getting the 60.

    50/50 would also be fair.

Or they can both nut up and make it 45-45 with the winner getting the extra 10%.

In no way shape or form does Pac deserve a bigger cut than Mayweather. To suggest so is the biggest evidence of nuthuggery I have ever seen.

Why should Floyd give Pacquiao the bigger split? Floyd was doing 350-400,000 buys against Gatti, Judah, and Baldomir and Pacquiao was doing 100-200,000 on some PPV shows and I believe no more than 300,000 against Barerra and Marquez. Now lets put the numbers against their common opponent. Oscar. Floyd 2.15 million and Manny 1.25 million. Not even close. If Pacquiao Hatton can beat Mayweather Hatton numbers than give him the split but it will not hit that number of 900,000 GUARANTEED!!! Everyone says Hatton and Manny are more popular than Floyd so why dont the numbers reflect that. Manny is the draw in the Phillipines and he will get his TV money there but based on these numbers tell me why he should take less? Oh yeah, and Manny negotiated much harder for Oscar than Floyd did. That fight amost fell apart because of money.

Exactly. If either side wants 60-40, imo, they don't want the fight. The fighter who wants 60-40 would be seen by the public as being greedy.

Moeny issues won't stop **** in this fight. It will be 50-50 or or somewhere near that. Hell I can see mayweather getting the bigger slice before I can see manny. But anyways this fight will happen if Manny gets past Ricky.
