Im hoping Forbes beats oscar because i know the only fight mayweather is looking at is another 20 million dollar fight that nobody cares about. Will he ever fight Cotto,Margarito,Berto, etc?

Will he ever fight someone not named Oscar De La Hoya? Yeah.. Ricky Hatton..

He'll have to fight Cotto or Margo sometime soon.. More than likely next year.. He can't go on forever not fighting one of these guys...

Whats wrong with Mayweather fighting DLH in a warm up fight after taking time off? I thought DLH was past it, what a better way then to come back in a warm up fight against DLH.

sorry i forgot to add Ricky hatton to the list. We all know Hatton isn't a threat to any of the big names at 147, he doesn't have the chin for it. He'd be better suited at 140 where he was all along. I can't really see the Pac fight coming off

If Mayweather and cotto fought and mayweather won by a close decision and a lot of people thought cotto won it then everyone would be calling for a rematch.
De la hoya vs mayweather was very close and many people thought oscar just edged it so whats the problem with oscar having a rematch with floyd???
And how is De la hoya past it? he took the pound for pound best the distance.

Mayweather has a perfect chance to cement his legacy with a win over Cotto. This fight needs to happen in 2009, Cotto is a real threat to Mayweather's crown.

As long as the people keep shelling out $50 to the tune of 2 million+buys, how can anyone really blame Mayweather to fight DLH to the tune of 20 million in pay everytime.

Mayweather will not make anything close fighting anyone else!

You pay, they fight. Thats just the way it goes!

You Know What I Would Have Rather Senn Mayweather Fight Cotto ,mosley ,margarito Williams Or Even Clottey .not Because The First Fight Wasn't Real Close But Mayweather Just Looked So Damn Scared Of Oscar Going In That Shell Curling Up In The Ropes Throwing Some Pity Patter Then Having Some Blind Man For Compubox Say He Was Hitting Oscar.but For Real The Best Thing For Boxing If He Has To Fight Oscar Is For Oscar To Win. His Popularity Will Be Realized At What It Really Is Nothing But A Few Internet Fans And Homo Thugs And Other Down Low Brothers Like Himself.then To Have Any Type Of So Called Legacy He Will Be Forced To Fight The Aforementioned Leaders Of The Division
