We all know that in boxing it's not if someone will be knocked out, its when (depending on if they stay in the game long enough, it eventually will happen). Will Floyd stay in boxing long enough where he leaves himself open to being knocked out or will he retire early?
He'd probably love to get to 50-0, which would be dangerous for him considering he's already 35. The Cotto fight was tough but he handled himself well enough to believe he can go on another few fights without too much risk. I'd expect him to have 3/4 more fights and retire undefeated.
I depends on his financial situation. As we all know it's not what you make, but what you spend. I can see Mayweather coming back when he's around 40 for one last shine of the spotlight and some cash for Uncle Sam, so maybe.
retires early? he's 35 you fart sauce craving imbecile. money mayweather has one of the great iron chins of the 21st century, he will never be ko'd like poochio.
He will retire with a tainted legacy if he doesn't face Pac Same goes for Pacquiao... But Pacquiao will be doing alot more than Mayweather when his career ends..
No chance in hell Floyd wants 7 more fights. Not gonna happen. I'd be surprised if he planned to have even two more fights. And to answer the question, no. He's never gonna get knocked out.
Floyd will probably retire when he turns 37 or porbably have his last fight at that age. He's made a ton of money and his legacy is already in the record books. He seems smart enough to know when enough is enough.
Around here(and everywhere really) "knocked out" means different things to different people. There really are all sorts of "ko's". Considering his size and the higher weight classes he may venture into, there is a good possibility he will eventually be "stopped" in one fashion or another. My guess is he will not answer the bell to start a round(ala Oscar), at some point.
I can't see him losing a fight to anybody. As much as I dislike him, I sometimes watch his fights and think this might be 'technically' the greatest boxer of all time.
